Old race course at Dowth Hall hosted a point to point meet…..history…

Point to Point racing took place at the “Old Racecourse” Dowth Hall on Sunday 25th October, reviving the heritage of a track last raced on in 1932 and first established in the 1700’s.  Hosted by Devenish and ran by the Meath & Tara Point to Point Committee, the spectacular Meath venue attracted over 2,000 spectators who were treated to top quality racing as well as the Boyne Valley Artisan Market.
